Try Out Some Glitter

I have recently learned how to make really good digital glitter.  I'm so excited because I love glitter and now it won't be all over my house!  I started making glitter that coordinates with my kits because then you can use it for your title or any other embellishments that you add to the page.  It's a fun way to add some sparkle!  The glitter can be purchased seperately or it's free when you purchase the kit that it matches.  I thought you might like to try a style so that you can see how it looks.  In your download, I include .asl files for PS and also .png files for those who have programs that don't use styles.  If you have any questions please ask!

I Have A New Computer

YAY!!!  I have a new laptop and it is so fantastic.  Sorry for the delay in blogging, but I got out of my groove with the computer transition.  I'm trying to focus again and get things done!  Since my computer is super fast like a rocket, lol!  

SOTB is going to be down from the 28th through the 2nd for a server switch, so I am going to have a bunch of new kits going up on the new server after the 2nd.  I've got a baby one done so far and I have a boy one half done and a spring one also half done!  Some new glitter styles too, woohoo!  I love glitter!!

Since the site is going to be down, we will be doing Speed Scrap via email!  If you haven't been introduced to speed scrapping yet, this will be an easy way to try it out.  You will receive all of the instructions in your email on Tuesday at 8pm EST (that's our usual speed scrap time) and then you have 2 hours to complete your layout and upload to the gallery.  The gallery is supposed to still work during the server move, but if it doesn't you can email me the layout.  

If you would like to join in on the email SS, send me your email to purelypixels82@gmail.com!  I hope you will all try it out!

Reminder!!!

I have been bad this week, no blog posts, yikes!!  The reason is my computer is finally kaput.  I can't open PS without it freezing.  Without PS, I am lost.  No designing and no scrapping!!  But, I am getting a new computer on Thursday, woohoo!  The computer I'm on now we have had since 2002 so I think it is time for an upgrade, lol!

Country Primitive

I found this color palette that I completely loved, but it has taken me weeks to figure out what to do with it.  It was my first designer block.  But, finally, it took on a country primitive theme that has turned out so cute!  I am very glad to be done with it so I can move on, lol!  I really love the direction it took though.  Today I have a quick page for you so you can sample this lovely little kit!  Don't forget about the template challenge, you have until Thursday.  Also, my next speed scrap is this Tuesday night at 8pm!  Don't miss it, we had so much fun last week!

Successful Speed Crop!

1st Speedy Scrap Tomorrow

Join me tomorrow night for my first speedy scrap crop.  From this point on, they will be held every Tuesday night at 8pm EST in the SOTB chatroom.  

Are you ready to have some fun, expand your scrapping skills, and get your pages done? Then come join me in the SOTB chatroom on Tuesday nights at 8pm EST for the speedy scrap crop! 

At each crop, instructions will be given every 10 minutes during the first hour. Then you have until the end of the second hour to get your layout finished and uploaded to our speedy scrap gallery.

BONUSES: Each week, if you finish the challenge in time, you will receive 1 part of a kit. By the end of the month, you will have a full kit!

SOTB BONUS: If you make it to every challenge and use SOTB products for all of your layouts, you will receive a special bonus at the end of the month!

Here is the first part of the kit that you will receive for participating tomorrow night!
