Last Kit From the Contest

Here it is, the final round kit!  I think it's my favorite, I just love the colors and all the glitter!

A Nice Break

Today my SIL took my 3 year old out for lunch, the movies, and ice cream!!!  While they were gone, the little one was taking his nap!  Yay for me, I had some free time today.  Is everyone else dying for preschool to start again?  I feel like I'm getting nothing done.

I'm Baaaaack!

How was everyone's holiday?  I had the most wonderful time!!  We had a lot of different family events to attend and so I was busy as anything.  But, I already have my decorations down, whew, that's a relief!  I know New Year's is still a few days away, but we don't do much for it.  My hubby and I usually just get a bottle of Asti, some yummy snacks, and lounge on the couch waiting for the ball to drop.  So, I'm ready to get back to work!  I have some really exciting new things in store for this blog.  I am having so much fun with it, but I really want to make it more interactive.  I'm going to be implementing some challenges and it's going to be a ton of fun!!   

For today, I have the next contest kit for you!  It is the Blue Jay Road kit, I love this one.  I hope you all have some great beachy pictures to use with it.

Road Trip Day

My SIL, my 2 boys, and I traveled from NC to PA today to surprise the in-laws with a Christmas visit. We made all of them cry, they had NO idea, nobody slipped up and said anything. It was the best surprise ever!!! But, since I'm in PA without my harddrive, I can't post any freebies for you until I get back. Well, I guess I should say after Christmas. We will be back on the 23rd, but we will be busy, busy, busy getting ready for Santa. I hope you all have the most wonderful holiday, whichever one you celebrate!! I do have to say that last night I had my air on because the temp got up to 76 in my house and today there is snow on the ground and ice on the trees and it is only 24, brrrrrrr!!! The great thing, we are celebrating Chrismas morning here tomorrow so we get to have a white christmas, yay!!!

Bad News

Well, bad news for me, but good news for you.  I didn't make it through the contest, however, I am very proud that I made it to the final round.  The good news for you is now you can have my kits for free!  So, I will start at the beginning with the 1st round.  So much for the last christmas gift yesterday, right, lol!  Pretty, pretty please show me your wonderful creations!!  I really would love some inspiration for my own pages!!  I just want to thank you all again, I don't feel so bad about not making it because I know I can create things for you and you really appreciate it, love you guys!!

Anxiously Awaiting

The designer contest is over, but I am still anxiously awaiting the results.  I have been trying to stay away from the computer because it makes the waiting worse.  I'm going on a trip for the weekend and now I'm not even sure I'm going to find out before I leave!!!  This is killing me!  But, since I am going away and won't be back until the 23rd, I wanted to give you all a final christmas gift from me!  Some more chrismassy word art!  I hope you all have the most wonderful holiday and I will see you after christmas!!  Hopefully with really good news!!  Actually, if I find out I got an apprentice spot you will find out before christmas because I will be too excited to hold it in!!

Nothin'

I'm picturing Yukon Cornelius in Rudolph, you know who I mean? He keeps looking for silver and gold and when he licks his little spike thing he says "Nothin'." I think it's funny, but anyway today I have nothin'. Sorry guys! My father in law was able to stop by again and he took us out to dinner. He drives tour buses and they are trading some in, but they have to drive from PA to Florida to do that. So, he passes through NC and, of course, had to come see his grandsons again! So, no freebie today, but I'm sure there will be one tomorrow!
