 I applied for a position in a Physical Therapist Assistant program at a local college here.  It is very hard to get into because they only choose 30 each year and I got in, woohoo!!  I really feel it is meant to be because I have already found the perfect little in home daycare for Zachary and Aidan and they can still go to preschool! She is scheduled to undergo palate surgery on March 6 and that amount will more than double. Sadly this is all after health insurance has been paid. Her family is in dire need of <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1235779454_2">financial assistance</span> and you can help.  McKenna is very near and dear to our hearts, because she is the niece of Scrap Outside the Box owner, Dani Fenning. Now one year old, you might not notice the small scar on her upper lip, but when she gives you one of her ear to ear grins, you'll discover the huge hole in the roof of her mouth. You see, McKenna was born with a cleft lip and cleft palate.<br /><br />McKenna has already undergone a number of procedures, including wearing an uncomfortable contraption called a latham appliance in order to bring her upper palate close enough to sew together her lip.<br /><br />But her trials do not end there. me and help me get my products up to par and then they usually offer a position, woohoo!!  I can't believe it!  I was so thrilled to get this, especially because they already gave me some very helpful info!  So, with this comes one big change.  I will be designing from now on in 300ppi.  I know that this is great for most of you.  My computer chugs along really slowly, but I will deal with it.  Now my stuff will match everything else you own.   Off Broadway will be the last 200ppi kit.  I am already starting on my first kit for them.  I also have a new kit in my <a I am, I can't wait for Christmas morning. It is so much fun when you have little ones whose eyes light up because Santa left them presents under the tree!! Each year gets more fun because our oldest, who is 3, understands more and more each year! We have a Christmas countdown that holds mini candy canes and we told him when the candy canes run out that's when Santa would come. He always says, "Santa comes tonight?" and we have to ask him if there are still candy canes and he checks and says "Yes, not tonight yet." When he comes out with silly little words for other words we call them Aidanisms, so the Aidanism for today is icepickle for icicle, lol! He was due on Dec. 26th and I really did not want to be in the hospital for Christmas. As it turns out, he arrived 2 1/2 weeks early! Zachary was born on December 9th, that's tomorrow! How is he 1 year already? We have had a rollercoaster of a first year with him, but we made it in one piece. He has already had more hospital visits and head bumps than his 3 year old brother! I took his 1 year portraits today and I just have to share! This round we have to do a "modern and trendy" kit with colors that they provided and also an extra embellishment pack to go with it. I already have some ideas floating around in my head! I have until Dec. 15th to get it done, wish me luck!!! Today we went to visit Santa for cookies and milk at my husband's company, it was really cute. My 3 year old asked for popcorn, if every year was that easy, right? Then we went to see a Christmas parade afterwards, it was long, but the kids loved it. We were all bundled up and my 3 year old was waving to everybody and saying Merry Christmas! Because of all that I have no freebie, but I hope to get something done for you today or tomorrow!! My desktop has a virus and my laptop power connector doesn't want to work. Right now, I am at my mom's house on her computer. Granted, both computers are OLD! We had so much fun with our visiting family. On Thanksgiving we also celebrated Christmas since we won't be seeing them on the actual Christmas day. The kids had a blast! Then on Friday, we celebrated Zachary's 1st birthday since everyone was here! His actual birthday is December 9th. We had 5 kids here, so we sang Happy Birthday 3 times because all of the kids wanted to blow out the candles, lol! Then they were all lined up around Zachary so we let each one open presents for him. I have the cutest pictures of the whole experience. It was the quickest birthday present unwrapping ever, but it was so cute! Yesterday we got our Christmas tree and decorated the house, indoors and out! But, that means we are done. The only thing I have left to do is cards and some minor shopping. All the gifts in the house are wrapped already, yay! So, you can see why I haven't posted anything the past few days! I was in the birthday spirit so I made some WA for you for today!
